Dick L. Elliott
Director of Research & Development
Dick Elliott brings over 32 years of real estate experience to the CLARK Investment Group family. His direct involvement in real estate research, development, acquisition, construction, financing, management, and marketing provides a valuable resource for CIG.
A Vietnam Era Veteran of the U.S. Army, Dick is a 1971 graduate of Wichita Sate University, and a member of the University of Nebraska Executive MBA program. During an eight-year career with the Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD), he was a member of the Urban Intern program, earned two outstanding performance awards, authored articles for national publications, and was a speaker at numerous HUD sponsored events. After achieving the highest position of Chief of Mortgage Credit, Dick resigned from HUD to pursue a career in the private sector.
Since 1980, he has been successful as the Director of Research & Development at CIG, consultant to the City of Wichita and various non-profit organizations, as well as numerous real estate developers, mortgagees, and contractors. Dick holds a current Kansas Real Estate License, and is active in commercial real estate brokerage with Classic Real Estate.
Community activities include eight-years as an elected member of the City of Wichita CPO (including three years as President), and a member of the City of Wichita Coordinating Board. For over 15 years he was a board member of the AYSO Youth Soccer program, including four years as Regional Commissioner, and spent numerous years as a coach, referee, and instructor.
Dick and his wife, Dena, have been married for 32 years. They have a son and daughter who are both college graduates, and are currently completing their respective graduate programs at Wichita State University.
